Coach Mark Arzdorf was offered and accepted the position of head basketball coach for the Bengals. Coach Arzdorf leaves his two year position as Maple Grove Varsity Basketball Coach to assume the reins of the Bengals program. The 2010-11 season will mark his 15th season as a high school basketball coach. Prior to his Maple Grove position, he coached the sophomore boys at Blaine High School, was a Varsity boys assistant at Hopkins High School and Osseo High School, and served four years as the Varsity girls coach at Osseo. He has been fortunate to be a part of 7 state tournament teams including two with the Osseo girls team. Coach Arzdorf is a Blaine High School graduate. He graduated from North Dakota State University where he played basketball for 4 years.
